Winners of Connect2Care Heroes Awards 2021 Announced!

A wave of future and current talent has been unmasked in the adult care, healthcare and early years industries as the winners of the first-ever Connect2Care Heroes Awards are announced.

The awards, hosted by Connect2Care – a leading provider of apprenticeships and vocational training in the adult care, healthcare, early years and funeral services industries – celebrates Connect2Care’s apprentices and employer partners’ outstanding dedication to apprenticeships.

The winners of Connect2Care Heroes Awards 2021 are:

Apprentice of the Year Award Winners

Adult Care Apprentice of the Year – Jasvinder Dhaliwal, Registered Manager at Temple Croft Care Home – studying Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care

Healthcare Apprentice of the Year – Zoe Keeton, Employment Specialist at Lincolnshire Partnership Foundation Trust – studying Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker apprenticeship

Early Years Apprentice of the Year – Georgia Newton, Early Years Practitioner at Choo Choos Day Nursery – studying Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship

Extra Mile Apprentice of the Year – Tazmin Dougal, Trainee Deputy Manager at Park House Care Home – studying Level 3 Adult Care Worker apprenticeship

Employer of the Year Award Winners

Small Employer of the Year – Elswick House Nursery School in South Staffordshire

Medium Employer of the Year – Broadacres in Norwich

Large Employer of the Year – Audley Care and Mayfield Care various locations across in the UK

Best Community Outreach Programme – Independence Matters across Norfolk and Suffolk

The awards showcase the diverse range of apprenticeships available and celebrates apprentices’ individual drive to become leaders and stars of the future.
